What is acute promyelocytic leukemia?
Acute promyelocytic leukemia (APML) is a subtype of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) designated M3. It represents about 10 to 15% of all cases of AML, striking a younger age group with a median age of 31 years and people of Hispanic ethnicity.
