What is axillary web syndrome?
Axillary web syndrome, which is also known as cording, may develop following a lymph node dissection although the exact cause of cording is unknown. With this syndrome, a thick cord is felt under the skin and can restrict movement in the arm. Treatment may include physical therapy or stretching.
