What is dilated cardiomyopathy?
Dilated cardiomyopathy is a condition in which the heart becomes weakened and enlarged due to inefficient pumping of the left ventricle (chamber of the heart). Over time the inefficient pumping can affect the lungs, liver, and other body systems.
