What is erythema nodosum?
Erythema nodosum is a skin disorder characterized by tender, swelling, red nodules under the skin. The area starts out slightly raised and bright red and then turns to a purplish red, as they start to fade they turn yellow. The cause is usually linked to medications, infections, or other conditions.
