What is eye stroke?
Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy (AION) occurs when there is insufficient blood supply to the optic nerve, resulting in loss of vision. There are two types of AION: Nonarteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy (NAION) and Arteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy (AAION).
