What is heart failure?
Heart failure occurs when the heart cannot pump enough blood to the rest of the body. It may become enlarged, pump faster, or develop more muscle. Symptoms include shortness of breath, fatigue, or coughing. There are different types of heart failure, including systolic or diastolic dysfunction.
