What is pulmonary hypertension?

Pulmonary hypertension is abnormally high blood pressure in the blood vessels of the lungs making the right side of the heart need to work harder than normal. Causes include autoimmune diseases, blood clots, congestive heart failure, heart valve disease, lung diseases, certain medications.
