What is salivary gland cancer?
Salivary gland cancer is a rare disease in which cancer cells form in the tissues of the salivary glands which make saliva and release it into the mouth. There are 3 pairs of major salivary glands including parotid (near the ears), sublingual (below the tongue) and submandibular (below the jaw).
