What is strabismus amblyopia?
Amblyopia is functional reduction in visual acuity of an eye caused by disuse during visual development. Strabismus is misalignment of the eyes. Strabismic Amblyopia is the result of prolonged suppression of one eye instead of freely alternating fixation between the 2 eyes.
