What is tonsil stones?
Tonsil stones are small calcified white formations of material comprised of bacteria, dead cells, and mucous. The stones get trapped in the folds of the tonsils. These stones can contribute to bad breath, sore throat, tonsil swelling, and difficulty swallowing.
