Cryoprecipitate, a blood product that comes from plasma, contains fibrinogen, von Willebrand factor, fibronectin, and factors VIII & XIII, and, important elements in the body's blood clotting response. It may be used to replace fibrinogen in patients that are bleeding or at risk of bleeding.
