Methoxsalen topical is used in conjunction with UVA light for the symptomatic control of severe disabling psoriasis; forrepigmentation of idiopathic vitiligo; and for palliative treatment of skin manifestations of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. It is applied by a healthcare professional prior to UVA.
