Ultraviolet A (UVA) light therapy is also known as Photochemotherapy (PUVA), and involves pretreatment with a psoralen to sensitize the skin and then exposure to UVA light (320 to 400 nm). It is often used for the treatment of psoriasis and cutaneous T-cell lymphomas, as well as other conditions.
